Empty nest syndrome is something that most parents face at one time in their lives. The day you gave birth to your child was the day you made a commitment that would span 20-odd years of your life. Once that commitment is over, the time has come for you to begin afresh with plans for the coming 20 years. Now comes the time for you to do those things that you’ve always wanted to do, instead of just moping around the place and getting depressed.
What are some of the things you do that keep you feeling Young At Heart.?

In a world where society dictates what is acceptable and what is not, it can be a bit difficult to find love and stay in love. As social beings, we are forced to accept what society finds acceptable and we have to abide by these intangible laws of society. But society and its tolerance is changing, it is changing with the passing of every decade and every year. Things that were ‘not done’ two years ago are now acceptable. Beliefs and traditions are also changing along with people’s tolerance level.  IE: “I should wait for the man to call”  now becomes “if I want company today I had better pick up the phone!”  What is your opinion on this controversial subject of who initiates  in the Modern age?

When your children are all grown up, married and even the youngest has left for college, you know that the birds have flown away and your nest is empty. At first the freedom of living alone without having to worry about your children seems very exhilarating. You can do what you want with your free time. You can go for bingo, or go for movies, read, go for walks or just sleep all day. You can do just about anything with your time.

Everyone wants to be in love; the excitement and the thrill you get when you are in love with someone is the best feeling in the world. Finding love after a certain age is not difficult, but what you do miss out on is the excitement and the thrill you would have felt when you were in your 20s. So what has changed? Well life has changed and you with it. It it’s not the excitement, then what are the things that matter most to the Young Age Heart

All love stories don’t necessarily have to end with the ‘getting married and living happily ever after’ tag. Yes of course, there are many people these days that find themselves left alone again after many years of being happily married or in a happy relationship either because of the passing away of their partner or due to a divorce. Most unattached seniors who are faced with the sudden shock of being single and lonely again are either devastated or traumatized for life. If you have experienced any of this, then you don’t have to punish yourself by being lonely all your life. These days, more and more unattached, mature, independent adults are looking out for partners, as they are not ready to live lonely lives.
